Hello! I'm Kate Hebert. I'm so excited to be starting my 6th year as a librarian in Alvin ISD. I love sharing the joy of reading with students and teachers.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Literature, a Master's degree in Humanities from University of Houston- Clear Lake and a Master of Library and Information Science degree from University of North Texas. This is my 8th year in public education; I previously worked in public and academic libraries.
At home, I have three children- ages 17, 8, & 5. I love to be on or in the water...especially paddleboarding, and I love to travel.
